OUR STORY

Hi, we are the Darbyshire family: Andy, Kathy, Autumn (married to Mark), Austin (married to Summer), Andrew, Avonlea, Avala, Aaron, and Alan. Our first grandson, Beniah, came to us December 26, 2009 and our first granddaughter, Emma, will come to us some time in June, 2010.

We have been married 30.5 years. And have been home-schooling for 25 years. Our oldest was 2 years old when God let us know we would be homeschooling. We realized then that was His plan for our family and have never questioned it. We have graduated our four oldest and have three we are schooling at this time. Our youngest is five, so we have about 11-12 years of schooling in front of us, if the Lord allows.

We have enjoyed family life and all it entails these 30 years! We have had good years and bad years, but God has always been faithful and true. He has carried us through the loss of a child, loss of three jobs, and recently the loss of a long-term business Andy built from the ground up, literally.

Due to the loss of our 15 year old, home-based, family business, we were looking for God's leading for the next phase of life. As we sought His will for our family we found ourselves considering some thing we never would have had we remained in our past business of caring for developmentally disabled men. A multi-level marketing company!

As we heard more about the science behind the products, the company's public track record, the integrity of the people involved, and market trends, we decided this was probably perfect timing to get involved with Nu Skin and Pharmanex. We have caught the vision the company shares - "People helping people get more out of life with better health, more time freedom and more financial freedom."

Our five year vision for our family involves working this business and creating a network of people who understand the amazing gift this company offers each of us regardless of education, background, personality, or strength. We see ourselves having fun along the way as we acquire financial freedom that allows us to own our home, provide for our family, as well as, our aging parents, enjoy vacations with extended family and grandchildren, and give generously to ministries God has placed on our hearts. We look forward to traveling the country together with our younger children as we grow our business by meeting new people, sharing the product and the opportunity Nu Skin offers.
